Mindfulness practices and meditation, long recognized in eastern practices as routes to happiness and well-being, are now being actively researched in western medical settings and the results are reinforcing what long-term meditators already know. Mindfulness practice not only help to manage day to day stresses, but they can also fundamentally change the anatomic structure of the brain, as well as physiological processes in the body.
In this workshop, we will explore these practices and the science behind the benefits we experience. All levels are welcome.
